Try to read between the lines, and make sure that the reviewer is writing a genuine review, not just recommending a product for the sake of making money.

You will find that although most companies provide both domains and hosting, it may be advantageous to purchase your domains from one supplier, and your hosting from another.  For example, you may decide that one offers you the best hosting package, but that the other supplies domains at a better price.

Hostgator is one of the hosting providers recommended by Wordpress. and their hosting packages are amongst the most reasonable.

This site is hosted on Hostgator. With my previous Hosting company I was having major problems with several Wordpress functions, but since moving to Hostgator I have had no problems whatsoever, and some functions that use to take 5 – 10 minutes to execute, literally finish in seconds, saving me a great deal of time.

Because of this I have become a Hostgator affiliate, and obviously recommend them.
